This has been quite a couple of weeks. A few weekends ago (Cora's birthday!), Brandon was working out of town for four days. We survived that stretch without Daddy, and he came home Monday after work. But then Tuesday night our house got hit with a stomach flu - Cora Tuesday night, Cora AND Jonah Thursday night, and then Brandon Friday night. So much laundry! And not a lot of sleep for Mom and Dad.
Oh, and it just so happened that in the middle of all this, we had to have a crack in our (only!) bathtub repaired...which meant it was out of commission for three days. Yikes! We were all ready for a bath by Friday night.
We had a bit of a reprieve over the weekend, and we were able to get out of the house after being cooped up for days.
Then the next week started (Esther's birthday!)....and we all slowly came down with a nasty cough, runny nose, and (for some) days of fevers. It has been a rough go for the Alleman clan. But January is almost over, and things are starting to look up. We are slowly on the mend. Plus, the weather forecast for the week is full of sunshine and 60's!! We are ready for some fresh air :)
