She loves her siblings. She and Esther play together so well - they both love babies and anything crafty (especially if it involves glue!), reading stories, and playing dress up. We have enjoyed our days together while Jonah's at school - their sister relationship is really starting to blossom!
| Esther's love language is definitely Physical Touching-you-all-the-time! Cora's love language is probably Quality Time...so she tolerates the snuggles if it means Esther will sit next to her - ha! |
Cora and Jonah get along great...and also drive each other crazy. Cora, typical middle child, loves to be with someone else - and sometimes Jonah needs his space. But mostly, they get along great.
A few more things about 4-year-old Cora....
- Cora is sweet and silly and sensitive.
- She embraces her role as a middle child and would prefer a buddy to do everything with her. In this way she is a follower, and will do almost anything, if someone does it with her: She loves to dress like Esther and help me in the kitchen and play make believe with anyone.
- Cora loves snuggling on the couch and reading with any adult who's willing.
- She's great at following directions, often intuiting needs and being helpful without being asked. She has a bit of a dramatic side starting to emerge, but she has a tender heart and loves to reconnect.
- She picks up on routines quickly and can remember details remarkably well.
- Cora is easily frustrated when she encounters something new or challenging.
- Cora Loves gymnastics! She still takes a class once a week, and often tumbles around the living room, practicing donkey kicks and splits and bridges and somersaults.
- She's our very social girl.
- Loves doing crafty things, doodling, cutting and gluing, and painting.
- Still a picky eater, but loves all sweets and can take down a pint of berries in minutes.
- Loves girly things, like nail polish and jewelry and dresses.
- Cora continues to take great naps and loves sharing a room.
