At Jonah's school, students are required to wear their "dress uniform" on Mondays. For elementary boys, this includes a white oxford shirt and tie, as well as dress shoes. Jonah is not impressed with this new look.
To get to the Kindergarten rooms, Jonah has to walk down the hallway where the high schoolers have their lockers. It is a strange thing to watch your tiny 5 year old, wearing a tie, walking down the hall among a bunch of teenagers (also in ties or pleated skirts)!
First full week of Kindergarten - here we go!
