My cousin Cheri happened to be in town for Jonah's birthday, so we planned a little birthday outing for the morning. Cheri is 6 weeks older than me - and her youngest, Gretel, was born just 15 days before Cora! Today was the first time the two met (and the first time Cheri and I met each other's new babies).

Cheri's middle two children also made the trip down, and they all spent the morning at our place. Jonah enjoyed showing Taryn and Trace all his toys, while Cheri and I sat with the babies and chatted. Taryn and Trace were the first to wish Jonah a Happy Birthday this morning, and he even got to open his first gift! Thanks for helping us celebrate, Mosers!
After the babies were fed, we loaded up all FIVE kids into Cheri's SUV and made our way to an open gym at a local gymnastics club. It was a blast! All the equipment was free game for jumping, swinging, and bouncing on. And, in addition to all the traditional gymnastics stuff, they had the largest bouncy-house/playground I've ever seen! Jonah loved it. He bounced on a trampoline, walked a balance beam, hung on the rings and parallel bars - but his favorite thing was the bouncy house. It was a little tricky trying to manage my toddler while holding a baby (thankfully Cheri's husband, Jonathon joined us to help corral kids), but we left with no injuries and all children in positive spirits. Success!
After everyone had worked up a good appetite, we made our way over to visit Uncle Bob at work and get some lunch at Backpocket.
The kids were great while we waited for our food. The place was pretty empty, so they were able to run around a little bit without disturbing anyone. The babies were chilling in their car seats, chatting up a storm.

By the time we got home, Jonah was exhausted! But we wanted to squeeze every ounce of sunshine out of the day. So...after a nap, we got out and took a walk to the park to enjoy the perfect first-day-of-spring weather! Dad even got off work early and was able to enjoy the afternoon with us!!
And finally...before bed, Jonah got to open a present from Mom and Dad...
His very own Jonah-sized headphones! Complete with tiger faces on the earpieces :)
Phew! It was a busy day! But a good day. I think everyone will sleep well tonight. Happy Birthday, Jonah!!

We had a LOT of fun!! Thanks for having us! By the way, you got WAY better pictures than I did! (I may have to borrow a few.) :) Glad we got to meet Cora and see Jonah on his bday!
Cheri - A magic wand was left behind in Jonah's room...
Did your picture of the kids walking into the brewery holding hands turn out??
Thanks for helping us celebrate! Hope all the snow was gone when you got home.
