Google Picasa does this cool (creepy?) thing when you upload pictures to their cloud storage - they call it "Auto Awesome". And just like it sounds, the automatically select photos and make them "awesome"....by adding some kind of effect. If you upload five or more similar photos (taken in quick succession), they make a little, short, stop-motion animation (GIF). And it's kind of creepy.

Other effects Google has applied to my photos: making it snow (even when indoors), making Christmas tree lights twinkle, fusing a series of photos by selecting the "best smile" from each person and combining them into one shot, and creating panoramas by overlapping photos (these turned out surprisingly well!). And it's all done automatically. Cool! ....or kind of creepy.
