Jonah has a children's bible that we try to read a little bit from each night before bed. He has had some funny interactions during this time. For instance, last night:
We were reading the story of creation from Genesis. We have read this story several times before.
Dad: (pointing to a picture of Adam) Jonah, do you remember what his name is?
Jonah: Adam!
Dad: That's right! (And then, pointing to a picture of Eve) And what's her name?
Jonah: Mick-a-mouse?
And then, a few weeks ago, we were reading the resurrection story, and turned the page to this picture of Mary Magdalene at the tomb:
And Jonah reached out his hand and gave Mary a high five :) Don't leave me hanging!
And finally, this is not related to Jonah's bible -- but we bought some potatoes from Costco the other day, and they were RIDICULOUSLY huge. Happy Hump Day :)
