Part II of our fabulous trip to Michigan was a stop in Grand Rapids to meet up with my college roommates. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I lived with seven other ladies, but we have a hard time getting everyone together these days. It finally worked out - and I'm so glad it did!
On Thursday morning, we drove over to the west side of the state and spent the morning lounging by the pool. It's been a hot, hot summer, and the water felt great! Big thanks to Laura's parents for hosting us and providing a fabulous lunch :)
Love these ladies!!

In the afternoon, we made our way over to Sarah's new house for a baby shower to celebrate baby Sorensen, due in late October. We had a great afternoon of catching up, talking about all things baby, and enjoying Sarah and Tom's new house.
The last stop on our tour of Grand Rapids was Laura and Matt's house for some burgers and more conversation. Brandon got to watch another Tigers game on TV (twice in one week!) while we ladies enjoyed our dinner on the back porch. We also finally got a picture of all of us together. Jonah was already down for the evening, but Kate and Lydia joined us for the picture.

After sharing breakfast together Friday morning, most of the gals had to take off, but we stayed and hung out with Tisa, Laura and Kate until it was time to head north to Traverse City.
Future friends :)
