Caleb's summer gig in Iowa is up - which means this weekend it was time to say good-bye.
Caleb, sorry that the last week of your stay here coincided with the Olympics. Sorry that our television is in your temporary bedroom (aka, the living room). Sorry that the combination of those two facts meant we kept you up until past 11pm every night watching the Olympics, whether you wanted to watch them or not. (And I'm really sorry that after keeping you up until 11pm, Brandon woke you up at 5:00 every morning to go work out).
But thanks for playing with Jonah. Thanks for eating my cooking; Brandon says thanks for attempting to eat Paleo. And a BIG thanks for babysitting every Wednesday night.
After a few weeks of rest back in Michigan (and cleaning college apartments at MSU), Caleb will head off to his senior year of college.

On a positive note, Caleb's departure meant a visit from Grandpa Rob and Bibi*!! It was a quick trip. They arrived in time for lunch on Friday but had to leave shortly after breakfast on Saturday. Just enough to time squeeze in a nap (it was an early morning on Friday), load up the car, and sneak in a picture with Jonah. Good to see you, Grandpa and Bibi!!
*Jonah is the first grandchild on Brandon's side. This means that his arrival required Rob and Sue to decide what they wanted to be called: grandpa, papa, nana, mimi, etc. Sue settled on Bibi - which is Swahili for Grandmother. Rob says he wants to wait and see what Jonah calls him...so until Jonah can talk, we'll just refer to him as Grandpa Rob.
