Brandon left today for Michigan for his annual guys' weekend. He took Jonah and Cora along so they could spend the weekend with Bibi and Babu. That means it's just me and the babies this weekend.
As I was packing for the kids this morning, Esther noticed that I packed a bag for Jonah and a bag for Cora...but not a bag for Esther. She wanted to know why. I explained that Jonah and Cora were going to Michigan with Dad, and she was going to stay home with me, but that we would do some special, fun things, just us (....and Levi, of course). She thought about this for a minute, then responded:

She's not wrong.
In other news -- this is the THIRD day in a row with NO rain, hallelujah! We have had over a FOOT of rain in the month of May. The sunshine was so very welcome today, and we spent a few hours outside after dinner just soaking it all in. These two both love to be outside!
My agenda for the next four days:
1) clean out the van
2) do nothing during nap time everyday
and
3) EAT CAKE!
