7 months

Levi is 7 months old! 

And officially, totally blonde -- so long, dark hair faux-hawk!

We did a little sleep training this month, and now Levi sleeps all night (most of the time)!! He generally sleeps about 7:00pm until 6-6:30am.  He is also a pretty good napper; though, it's still not quite a predictable pattern.

He has no interest in forward movement, but he rolls! All over the place.

Levi will grab at anything within reach - he especially loves to grab hair!  He gets frantic - almost panicky - over books. He seems to enjoy being read to, but it also kind of stresses him out, haha.

Levi is still a pretty serious, stoic little guy. Sometimes it almost seems like he is withholding smiles on purpose, like a stubborn toddler refusing to smile for a picture.  Dad is still his favorite, and always gets a huge, smiley reaction. Levi can tune out the chaos of his siblings, but notices instantly when Brandon walks into a room.  Levi seems to have made the switch from not-happy-unless-he-can-see-Mom...to happy-playing-unless-he-can-see-Mom, then he just wants me to pick him up. When he gets upset, he yells with his mouth closed - Mmmmm!!! Or, if he gets really mad, he blows angry raspberries - haha! Sometimes he even yells while blowing raspberries...and sounds like Chewbacca :)

Levi had his first stomach bug last week - actually, nearly everyone in the house was afflicted.  A puking infant is maybe the saddest thing you’ve ever seen :(  He just kept looking at me with his sad, tired eyes, as if to say: What is happening to me?? I laid him on the floor, and eventually he just fell asleep with the kids running around him. Thankfully, it was a relatively short-lived bug, and he was on the mend a few hours later.

This past month, Levi has started to get more excited about food. He still let’s us know when it’s something he doesn’t like - there's lots of yelling/dramatic spitting, or he will sit with his stoic face/pursed lips and calmly refuse to open his mouth.

We sure love this quiet, calm, sweet little guy <3 <3 <3
