Esther came roaring into two FULL of personality and big emotions. But there is also so much sweetness and humor in her. I am just really enjoying her these days. Here are some fun little tidbits as she comes up on two and a half:
Esther is full of life and happy to do her own thing. She's not afraid to tell it like it is. She has learned to defend her territory from overly aggressive big bro and sis. She loves watermelon - and she is MESSY!
Esther needs her sleep, and is our first child who will actually sleep in occasionally. But when she doesn't - she is super grumpy when she gets up! And she always has great bed head in the morning :)
Speaking of sleep...she is convinced she doesn't need a nap and fights it almost daily. This particular day, she insisted she was not sleepy. I told her she needed to stay in the bed, even if she didn't sleep. I guess, technically, she's *on* the bed?
We are working on potty training! With the other kids, we basically stayed home for a week or more, until they got it figured out. We don't have the luxury this time - bigger kids have busy schedules! So, it's taking a bit longer to get this figured out. But she's starting to catch on. Big sis, Cora, is always eager to jump in and "help" - which our independent Esther doesn't always appreciate.
That's our Esther girl -- eager Little Sis, working hard to keep up with the bigs, always a cheesy grin :)
