Cora 11 months

Our sweet Cora is 11 months old!

We are still loving sweet snuggles and hugs. She continues to be a big smiler and very social, even with new people. But she is definitely starting to show some sass. Like if you take something away or move her away when she's getting into something. She is constantly pulling off her socks and hates when people touch her hands and feet.  She says Dada, yum, whoa, and, wawa (water). If you ask her a question, she will often respond with a yeah. And she still babbles and squeals a lot.

Cora had a little cold this month
Cora's greatest joys are laundry and her daddy. And making lots and lots of noise. And pillows. She is just delightful.

She loves to put-things-in and take-things-out....but mostly she likes to take things out:

She is getting very steady on her feet. She can bend to a squat and stand back up. And she even started taking a few steps the week of Thanksgiving. I've seen her take up to six steps, but she's still prefers crawling. She frequently pushes from crawling into a down-on-one-knee position, with her arms outstretched - and I always think: if she were a tiny little man, it would be the most adorable proposal ever :)

Cora is wearing size 3 diapers and size 9/12 month clothes. Tooth #7 is on its way in. And she takes just TWO naps each day. Hallelujah. We forced her to drop her third nap a few weeks ago, and it was a rough adjustment, but I think we are starting to get on track now. Of course, her naps no longer line up with Jonah's nap, and sometimes we go days without leaving the house. But I suppose this is the best time of year to be stuck at home.
