Cora is 3 months old! It really does go faster with the second child :)
A bit about our girl at 3 months:
Sleep. Sigh. Cora is becoming a terrible nighttime sleeper. On a typical night, she'll go to bed at 7:00pm and wake at 7:30 or 8:00am, eating once at around 4:00. Sounds pretty great, right? Except she has developed a pattern of waking half a dozen times throughout the night, just to yell at us that her pacifier has fallen out and could we please retrieve it. Now, I am certainly not opposed to letting children learn to soothe themselves. But when she is just a few feet away from where we are sleeping, it is less annoying to jump up and find a pacifier than to listen to her yell.
Also the 5:00 hour seems to have become the "be awake and yell for no reason" hour. This would not be such a huge problem if I got to also enjoy the last hour and a half to two hours of sleep each morning...but usually about the time I get her back to sleep, Jonah is getting up for the day. Which makes for a very early start to the day.
I don't remember Jonah ever doing any of this nonsense. But I do know from experience that this part doesn't last forever, not long at all in the scheme of things. A little perspective helps my sleep-deprived self get through the day, sometimes. Someday we'll all sleep again. (Hopefully some day soon!). In the morning, all is usually forgiven :)

Delightful. This is a delightful stage with Cora. She is simply thrilled just to have someone talk to her - and especially sing to her. She will often try to sing along. Dad is still her very favorite. She will give him big smiles and coos and giggles just about any time of day. Cora also continues to be a big (and noisy!) talker, happily screaming at toys and brother and nothing in particular all throughout the day.
