Cora Lynn

Sweet Cora arrived four days early, at 10:10pm on January 7 -- after just four hours of labor!  (Unless you count the 2+ weeks of sporadic, mostly mild contractions I had leading up to that).

At birth, she weighed 7lbs, 15oz - more than a pound lighter than Jonah when he was born! But she was 20.5" long, just like her brother, and she also sports a full head of dark hair, just like Jonah did. So far she has been a super calm baby - wide-eyed and alert when she's awake, but sleeping really well. The only time we've heard her fuss is when they take her temp.

We are enjoying time getting to know little Cora and resting up a bit, but we are excited to head home tomorrow and get into the groove of life as a family of four.

Big Brother Jonah stopped by with Grandma Strutt to meet baby Cora this morning. He gladly held and kissed her, and then spent the rest of his time here flipping every switch and opening every cabinet he could reach. Such is the life of a busy, curious toddler.
