5 months!

Our little Levi guy is FIVE months!

He's a smiley little guy, who doesn't like to be left alone - not like there's much of a danger of that happening around here, haha! He prefers to have you within eyesight, or even better, to be in your arms. He loves to chew on his toes and is getting better at holding onto small toys. Levi is also super snuggly, especially right after he wakes up or when he gets tired.

Levi is a not-great, not-terrible sleeper. He mostly takes short 30-40 minute naps, but occasionally stretches one to 2 hours or more. He sleeps okay at night, sometimes doing stretches up to 9 hours. But then the next night, he'll be up 2 or 3 times. We have had one glorious night of 11 hours, straight through until morning :) He likes his pacifier, but also relies on his fingers - nice that he's flexible that way. Typical youngest child, he is flexible enough to nap in non-traditional places, if needed...like pool-side at a birthday party.

His siblings continue to enjoy incorporating him into their play. Jonah decided the little pockets on this romper were perfect for holding his wrenches...Levi thought it was great because they were right within reach!

This little goofball likes smiling, Daddy's singing, and his excersaucer.  He is starting to giggle more frequently - though he usually ends up with the hiccups whenever he laughs. He notices immediately when Dad gets home, and still saves his biggest smiles and laughs for his number one guy. Brandon laments that he hardly gets to spend any time with Levi, even with a more relaxed schedule post-residency -- he is often corralling the other three kids when he is home. I don't think Levi holds it against him and is still pretty enamored with Brandon.

Just today, I looked over, and Levi was scooting across his blanket after an out-of-reach toy! It's not super efficient, but he's officially on the move :)  I also noticed today that Levi is cutting his first tooth. He's smashing through milestones. Happy 5 months, Levi!
