Busy Saturday

We had a busy Saturday! We started the morning off by heading south of town to Sargaent's Berry Farm for strawberry picking! It was a beautifully cool morning. We've had some rain the past few days, so it was also good and muddy :)

We loaded up on the tractor/golf cart to ride out to the berry patches, and I handed my phone to Brandon for a family selfie. After he handed my phone back, he said, "Don't ever ask me to do that again." I guess we used up our one and only selfie - ha!

Esther turned out to be a pretty hard worker, though we had to keep an eye on her, because a discerning-berry-picker she is not! Jonah and Cora seemed to run out of steam quickly - though that didn't stop them from enjoying the fruits of their labor later on.

5 lbs of fresh picked strawberries :)

After we picked our berries and did a little bit of playing, we headed home and enjoyed fresh whipped cream with our strawberries - yum!

After lunch, I took the boys to Jonah's last soccer game of the season - they won! - while the girls napped at home with Brandon. Once everyone was up, we all got cleaned up and headed to a graduation party for the daughter of one of Brandon's colleagues, also a former babysitter for us. Thankfully the rain held off, because after that we rushed off to a nearby park for a quick family photo shoot. Our kids cooperated remarkably well - can't wait to see how the pictures turn out!

After pictures, we played at the park for a while before finally heading home and all collapsing into bed. Levi did a six hour stretch for the third night in a row, and everyone slept until 7:00 this morning -- hooray for sleep!! And hooray for having Brandon around on the weekends :)
