Summer Reading Program

Jonah participated in the library's Summer Reading Program this year. We stopped by the library this morning to collect his prizes. There were lots of coupons: free book from the library's used book store, free ice cream, lots of free kid's meals (with purchase of adult meal) from chains around town, free bowling, etc. He also got to choose a library book, in which they placed a sticker with his name! We didn't have a lot of time to look around, but we recently listened to the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, so I herded the kids to the fiction section. The only book in the series on the shelf was "These Happy Golden Years," book #8 - so that's what we chose. Marked in his honor, at the Rockwell Branch Library, for all future readers to enjoy. Way to go, Jonah!!
