Baby Esther

Welcome to our family, Esther Joanne!!

Esther was born at 1:50am, Saturday morning, just barely missing her due date (1/15). She is our longest baby, at 22 inches, but falls in the middle by weight at 8lbs, 13oz. She is by far our squishiest, rolliest baby :) At birth, she didn't strike me as resembling either Jonah or Cora too strongly, but has since stared to look more like Cora - especially when she pouts. Her chin quivers when she gets really upset. And so far, she hasn't been too interested in sleeping. Like, at all. It's rough being born in the middle of the night and having to figure it all out. We'll get it sorted out, though.

Her middle name is after her Grandma Great (Joanne Strutt), and her Bibi (Susan Joann). And it's kind of fun, that, just like Cora, she shares a middle name with one of her aunts - Jennifer Lynn/Cora Lynn, Kathrine Joanne/Esther Joanne :)

And so begins our crazy adventure as a family of five!!
