This is such a fun age/stage! It seems like Jonah is discovering something new every day. Our inquisitive, patient little boy loves to explore and figure out how things work. Here are a few of his latest antics:
Standing: Jonah has loved to stand almost from day one. Much to his delight, he can now pull himself up to stand whenever he wants to...which is pretty much every chance he gets. Recently he discovered he can stand up under the table - but just barely. I frequently find him just hanging out under there.

Touch your toes: Jonah has also perfected the swoop-and-grab maneuver to retrieve a dropped toy with one hand while holding on with the other. This move is also useful to go from standing to sitting without bumping down hard onto his rear.
Kisses: Jonah gives great, sloppy, open-mouthed kisses :)
Bonks: When he's not in the mood for kisses, Jonah also gives head bonks (Brandon gets credit for this trick)
Clapping: Jonah loves to clap, especially for himself. You need only say the magic word ("Yay!") and he will usually stop what he's doing and give himself a round of applause.
And lastly, my personal favorite - Whistling! Yes, really. Jonah sort of whistled by accident/by chance once, and Brandon started whistling back at Jonah. And by golly he figured it out...and now he does it all the time. It's pretty quiet in this video, but you get the idea.
As I was uploading this video for this post, I showed it to Jonah - and he got pretty excited and started whistling along with himself :) What a goofball.
