Levi 11 months

Levi is 11 months old - and super wiggly!

Hair - His hair is so thin and wispy, and sticks straight up! It's getting super light, and it's always a mess :)

Eating - He is still pretty picky, but maybe it's getting better? He has certainly started to take notice of what everyone else is having...and he notices if we have left him out. Which is how our ten month old ended up eating tortilla chips. Apparently, we've loosened up a bit for baby #4.  Favorite foods include cheese and YOGURT. If he sees the yogurt container, game over - he will not eat anything else, and he always wants MORE.

Shenanigans - A little personality is starting to emerge from this guy. He's a little coy, very curious, and hearing "No!" makes him want it more.  We usually put CeraVe moisturizing cream on the girls before bed, and one night, apparently, we forgot to screw the lid back on. I was making breakfast the next morning when Esther came into the kitchen and said (rather nonchalantly), "Uh, Mom. You should come see this."  The *THIS* was Levi, elbow deep in CeraVe cream, wiping handfuls of it all over the carpet.  Oops! Thankfully, he did not put any of it in his mouth - or in his hair! Now he goes crazy every time he sees the container.

He has also reached the book-pulling stage. Nearly every day, he empties the bottom shelves, much to the dismay of his siblings, who are usually tasked with putting them all back.

Have to keep a closer eye on him at the library....it's not so cute when they are not your books.
Brandon is forever trying to discourage Levi's finger sucking habit by knocking his hand away from his face. Now, when Brandon pretends to suck on his fingers, Levi plays the part of discourager, haha!

Cuddles - Levi is still a cuddler, and I hope that never changes! If I am sitting or laying somewhere he can get to me, he will crawl over and lay his head on me, fingers in his mouth.

New Skills - This has been a busy month for Levi! He's learned lots of new skills. He started crawling on Valentine's Day. He sort of does a two-hands, one-knee, one-foot shuffle sometimes, but also a more traditional crawl.  He is also getting much more stable in pulling himself to standing. He loves his little music table, and it's just the right height for standing.

Levi can also clap and do "So Big". He does "more" in sign language (though it looks a lot like clapping - ha!), but more often, he just says, "Mah!" He also says mama and "Uh!" (uh oh).

His favorite thing to do these days, is to crawl to the edge of the step down into the dining room, then toss toys onto the floor. The noisier, the better. Dominoes make a terrific clatter!

He also likes to play "catch" with Jonah. Jonah rolls the ball to Levi, then Levi crawls over and gently places the ball in Jonah's glove.

Levi is getting more active and interactive. He is pretty firmly on a two-nap schedule. He wears size 9 month clothes. He has six teeth. And he is just a lot of fun :)
