In my last post, I skipped over part of our second day in North Carolina.
Jonah was napping when we left for Boot Camp. However, I was told he stopped napping approximately 5 minutes after we left. And he was a little out of sorts for a bit. But he rallied and he and Kevin had a good time until we got home.
Day one ended with ice cream; day two ended with boot camp.
Amy has been attending an intense, interval-based workout class called Boot Camp, and she invited us to join her for a session. Kevin volunteered to stay home with Jonah, so Brandon and I laced up our sneakers and jumped right in. The whole set-up seemed kind of cruel, though. In order to get to the workout facility, you have to walk by a little brew pub with a large outdoor patio, and look at all the diners eating their tasty food. And then, of course, you have to walk by them again on your way out and smell all the grain-filled, fried yummy goodness. Good thing we ate some delicious meals of our own!
For the class, the trainer marched us through a series of movements that basically didn't stop for an hour. I have not really gotten back into a good workout routine since Jonah was born, so it was good to get my heart pumping. Totally made up for ice cream the day before, right? No pictures of Boot Camp, because no one wants to see that.

Thanks for watching him, Kevin, so we could get out! And thanks for taking us to Boot Camp, Amy!!
