The last time I attempted cheesy potatoes and ham - the results were disastrous!! This time, I made sure to use the safety guard with the mandoline slicer (always use the safety guard!), and I escaped with all my fingertips intact.
The chocolate cake turned out pretty great, too. I highly recommend this recipe. It really may be the best chocolate cake ever :) Hyperbole is rampant in food blogging - but this cake was seriously good.
